Kim Taylor
Dr Kim Taylor is a specialist plastic surgeon. Her primary interests include breast reconstruction, breast, body and hand surgery (including paediatric hand surgery), skin and general reconstruction. She has also undergone further training in these sub-speciality areas. Kim has received considerable recognition for her work as a plastic surgeon. She won the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Essay Prize in 2008, was the ASAPS Advanced Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Fellowship recipient in 2009, and was awarded the ASAPS Best Fellow / Maiden Presentation at the ASAPS Conference in Sydney that same year. Kim was also invited as a foreign scholar to the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons 2010 Breast Surgery Symposium in the USA. In addition, Kim has conducted research into a number of focus areas including paediatric burns, breast cancer surgery, skin grafts, and the treatment of congenital and post-injury hand disorders.
